BSECDC provide high quality, comprehensive educational, health nutritional and social services to young children ages 3-4 and their families.  We work with families and the surrounding community to ensure every child achieves academic and career success. Our aim is that every child will transition from our program exceeding School Readiness Standards.

History of Bedford Stuyvesant Early Childhood Development Center Inc.,

BSECDC was conceived and launched over 51 years ago as part of the National War on Poverty Program.  BSECDC offered and continues to offer high quality, comprehensive development services to predominately low-income children and their families who reside within Bedford Stuyvesant and surrounding communities. BSECDC has grown from one early childhood site in the basement of a church to a site comprised of (7) strategically placed locations throughout the community. BSECDC operates full day program funded to serve more than 500+ pre-school children and their families
